Too Tired for This Yoga + Sound Circle
Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Led by: Ash Green LMT, CYI-300 (they/them)
Class Description
Grab your pillow and join us to practice yoga exactly as you are. This offering is intended to share the healing benefits of yoga beyond asana (or posture) practice through trauma informed meditation set to the music of crystal singing bowls played to balance your chakras and space for self study & reflection. Yoga doesn’t have to be movement, and meditation doesn’t need to be silent or perfectly still. All are welcome, take what resonates for you, leave the rest.
The yoga sutras of Patañajali describes the practice of yoga as an eight limbed tree, one of those limbs is asana. Meditation, the yamas & niyamas (the practice of yoga ethics), and vichara (self reflection through drawing, free writing, poetry, crafting, dancing, singing) are all yoga practices that do not require dexterity, mobility, or rigid stillness.
If you’ve ever been interested in the healing benefits yoga or meditation but felt mobility or trouble focusing excluded you from it, this space is for you.
Bring: anything and everything that supports your body best during meditation, whether you’d like to practice sitting, laying down, or pacing. This could look like a quilt, yoga mat, pillows, sleeping bag, fidget toys, mala beads, drawing/writing utensils
Folding chairs, paper, writing/drawing materials, bolsters, blocks, and blankets will be available.
Optional materials: eye mask, water bottle, a journal, writing or drawing materials, any sacred objects.

Meet Ash
Yoga practitioner & sharer, meditation guide, intuitive body & energy worker, reiki master practitioner
Ash is a nonbinary (they/them), queer, neurodivergent intuitive massage therapist, meditation guide, yoga sharer, and energy worker. Since 2019 they have been living their passion for serving others by supporting folks in relaxation, self care, and tuning into the sacred wisdom all of our bodies hold.
As an intuitive guide, they combine their gifts of clairsentience, clairvoyance, and intuitive channeling with knowledge and skills from multiple paths and trainings to create unique healing sessions and share practices intended to support folks exactly where they are on their healing journey, whether that be on the massage table or during a group meditation over some singing bowls.
Ash started practicing yoga regularly at the recommendation of a therapist to help with depression & anxiety, and over thirteen years has gotten much more than they bargained for as the practiced revealed itself to be not just self care but a profound tool for personal and collective liberation.
Ash’s healing hot takes are that mobility & movement are not requirements to practice yoga, that while your body keeps the score it holds more than trauma (joy, childlike wonder, love, wisdom, just to name a few), and that you are meant to be so many better things than calm.
Education:
Ash has studied therapeutic and relaxation massage, MFR, (The Healing Arts Center, LMT), reiki (Reiki Master practitoner- Usui & Holy Fire), pranic healing, trauma informed care, sound healing (self taught), guided meditation, energy anatomy, and the teachings of yoga for spiritual development and social justice (Ignite Institute for Yogic Leadership and Social Change, CYI-300).
