Your Voice Matters
We want to hear from you. Your experience matters. Your voice matters. You matter.
At Empowered Spaces, we root ourselves in the belief that healing and community are living practices — ever-changing, imperfect, and shaped by all of us. We want this to be a place where every body feels welcomed, honored, and able to exhale. And we also know that building community rooted in equity and belonging across lines of differences in power privilege, and social location is tender, messy work.
We won’t always get it right.
We will miss something.
We will stumble.
And when we do, we hope you’ll let us know.
If something leaves you feeling unseen, unsafe, or pushed to the margins, your experience matters. Your voice is not an interruption — it’s part of the medicine that helps this community grow in integrity. What you share with us becomes part of our ongoing reflection and repair, held with care in our Advisory Circle conversations and in our own inner work.
And while we welcome your truth, we want to be clear: the labor of our learning is not yours to carry.
We are committed to tending to our own shadows — the places shaped by privilege, power, and the systems we’ve inherited. We return again and again to the practices of humility, accountability, and repair. This is lifelong work, and we are devoted to it.
Because it is not enough to name ourselves a brave space if we are not brave enough to look within.
Not enough to speak of inclusion if we are not actively unlearning exclusion.
Not enough to invite community if we are not willing to be changed by community.
Our hope, always, is to co-create a space where truth can be spoken, harm can be named, and repair is possible. A space where we keep choosing one another — and a more just world — over and over again.
Thank you for being part of that becoming — one honest conversation, one relationship, one act of courage at a time.
