Classes, Groups, & Trainings
At Empowered Spaces, our class offerings are a space to learn, heal, and grow together — rooted in embodiment, relationship, and collective care. Each offering is designed to support healing, nervous system nourishment, and the practice of showing up to life with more presence and compassion.
Offerings include Trainings, Yoga, Movement & Somatic Classes, Soundhealing & Expressive Arts, Therapy Groups, and offerings For Helpers, Healers & Changemakers.
Our classes and groups are facilitated by members of the Empowered Spaces Collective. Each practitioner operates their own independent business and offers their work through our shared space. Empowered Spaces does not supervise or direct these offerings; each facilitator is responsible for their own class or group.
About Equity-Rooted Pricing at Empowered Spaces
At Empowered Spaces, we recognize that access to wellness is shaped by systemic inequity — including racism, colonialism, and economic injustice. While many of our offerings use a general equity pricing scale, we also honor that Black-led and community-specific offerings may hold more explicit pricing practices rooted in lived experience, mutual aid traditions, and cultural care. We stand behind our practitioners in designing pricing structures that reflect their values, identities, and communities. These practices are part of our shared commitment to justice, access, and collective wellbeing.

Yoga Classes
Midday Nervous System Nourishment
Thursdays, 12pm - 50 minutes
This lunchtime yoga class offers an opportunity to take a pause from the computer, the to-do list, the heaviness, and the overwhelm, and return to your body.
Through mindful movement and grounding practices, we’ll work with the tension or stuck-ness of the morning and support your nervous system in settling and re-centering—so you can move into the rest of your day feeling relaxed, clear, and alert. Some days we’re dragging and need a little more fire; other days we’re stressed and need to slow down.
This class draws on Ayurvedic seasonal wisdom to help restore balance.
Designed for both beginners and experienced yogis, the practice emphasizes accessible yoga basics, choice-based movement, and supportive guidance throughout.
Pre & Postnatal Yoga
Tuesdays, 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Led by Dr. Savannah Carlson, PT, DPT, RYT-200, Women’s Health Physical Therapist (she/her)

This yoga class is designed to meet the needs of your changing body while you navigate each stage of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Each class combines movements that build your strength and encourage mobility, all while soothing your nervous system and giving you the time and space to turn inward. No yoga experience is necessary. Your non-mobile baby is welcome! This workshop is appropriate for postpartum individuals and pregnant individuals in any trimester.
Movement & Somatic Classes
Awareness Through Movement ®
Thursdays, 10:00 - 11:00AM
Thursdays, 7:00 - 8:00PM
Led by Kelly Feder GCFT (she/her), Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher
The Gift of Awareness Through Movement. One of the gifts of a Feldenkrais practice is broadening our capacity to know thyself. To learn, not only better movement, but better ways to think, adapt, create and be with the challenges of living a full life. Prioritizing the quality of the movement rather than the achievement of it, students engage their curiosity, let go of will and solve each puzzle in their own timing. The learning is fun, challenging and often times surprising. Slowing down and reducing your efforts, you will investigate and discover unconscious preferences and habits of action. Whether you are interested in getting rid of everyday aches and pains, improving your athletic or artistic performance or coping with a chronic health issue. FELDENKRAIS WILL EMPOWER YOU to become your own teacher. Students of the Feldenkrais Method are endlessly astounded that doing less can lead to so much more flexibility, power, spontaneity, ease, freedom, ability, joy

Releasing Grief from the Body with Expressive Movement
A Monthly Offering
Are you experiencing feelings of grief, loss, anxiety, or overwhelm? Sometimes, these emotions get stuck in the body, causing suffering and preventing us from moving forward. Expressive Movement uses the power of movement, breath, and sound to inspire you to release pain and suffering to connect to love, harmony, and peace in a compassionate transformation. If you participated in the previous practice with Margie, this time will be different (new poses/techniques) from what you experienced before. Each practice offers and invites a different transformation.

Individuals find connection with one another while working on building self-compassion, confidence, self-awareness, healthy coping strategies, and skills to develop healthy relationships.
