Krystle’s Past Offerings

Krystle “Kryssi” Crayton-Day, M.A.T., CYT 500, RYT 200, SEL*F (she/her)

Yoga Teacher, Advisory Circle Member

With a heart full of compassion and a deep belief in the healing power of yoga, I'm Kryssi (CYT 500, RYT 200), and I warmly welcome you to explore the gifts of yoga with me. My own journey through yoga teacher training, including my 200-hour and 300-hour certifications, along with my training in the TEACH method and as a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL*F) through Breathe For Change, has shown me firsthand how the eight limbs of yoga can nurture profound well-being. I truly believe that yoga is for everybody in every body.

I currently reside in the beautiful state of Arizona, however, I aim to offer pop-up in-person yoga classes in St. Louis, whenever I'm in town. In my classes, you'll find a safe and encouraging space to move and breathe in a way that feels authentic to you. I see myself as a gentle guide, honoring your unique experience on the mat. Whether you're brand new to yoga or feel like you're "not flexible enough," please know that you are absolutely welcome here. Come as you are, and let's discover together the strength and ease that reside within you.

Beyond the yoga studio, I'm also a special education teacher, a role I've cherished since 2019. Working with students with different abilities has deepened my understanding of the importance of mindful movement and emotional well-being. Witnessing the positive impact of yoga tools in the classroom has ignited a passion within me to bring these practices to a wider educational community. My heart's desire is to partner with schools and districts to offer yoga, mindfulness, and wellness resources to students, staff, and families, fostering greater awareness, understanding, and pathways to navigate the mental health challenges in our communities. I believe in the power of collaboration to create meaningful change, and I'm eager to connect with educational partners.

In our time together on the mat, you'll hear gentle invitations rather than demands. Please know that every pose or asana is simply an offering. I'll share variations and alternatives, always encouraging you to listen deeply to your body's wisdom so that you can feel safe and grounded throughout our practice and beyond. Props are wonderful allies, and I'm passionate about making the poses as accessible as possible.

On a personal note, I'm a joyful mom to three amazing sons and happily married. My boys’ smiles are truly my greatest joy! When I'm not teaching or spending time with my family, you might find me exploring the beauty of Arizona, lost in a good book, enjoying music, or laughing over board games, card games, and karaoke with loved ones. I have a bright and open heart, and making others feel welcome is something that comes naturally to me. My deepest hope is that you leave our time together feeling positive, nourished, and with a sense of calm that you can carry with you.
