Pre & Postnatal Yoga

Led by Dr. Savannah Carlson, PT, DPT, RYT-200, Women’s Health Physical Therapist (she/her)
Nurture and strengthen your mind and body as you prepare for birth and rise to the challenges of parenthood. This yoga class is designed to meet the needs of your changing body while you navigate each stage of pregnancy and the postpartum period. Each class combines movements that build your strength and encourage mobility, all while soothing your nervous system and giving you the time and space to turn inward. No yoga experience is necessary.
This workshop is appropriate for postpartum individuals and pregnant individuals in any trimester.
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Feel free to bring your own mat, but know that free mats are available for your use in the studio.
Registration:
Drop-ins are welcome, but online reservations are recommended. Click here to reserve your spot ahead of time. You will complete a waiver at your first class. Please arrive early to get settled.
After you complete the registration form and submit your payment, Dr. Savannah will be in touch with you via email to confirm your registration. The class will be limited to 18 participants. Please note, you must submit your payment in advance in order to save your spot.

Health and Safety Precautions
We value community care and showing up for one another. Currently: Masks are optional. Please stay home if you have symptoms, test positive, or were exposed to someone with COVID-19. We use a HEPA air purifier in the studio. If anyone would like to participate and would only feel comfortable if everyone is masked, please email Kelly kkcaul@yahoo.com.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The Empowered Spaces studio is located on the ground floor. There is a 12-car parking lot adjacent to the studio & additional free parking on neighborhood streets. Restroom is gender neutral, wheelchair-accessible and ramp-accessible in the main building. Meet Savannah
Yoga Instructor, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, Pelvic Health Advocate
Dr. Savannah Carlson is a women’s health physical therapist, yoga instructor, perinatal coach, and first-time mom. Her yoga practice was an essential part of her own pregnancy and birth experience. She has been a yoga and meditation instructor since 2015. Dr. Savannah owns Rhea Physical Therapy, a pelvic health physical therapy practice dedicated to helping women and children overcome their pelvic problems.
